Does Doing Ballet make us clever?
Ballet may have other benefits than just being physically good for us. Many mums around the country would simply beam with pride to see their little ones gracing a tutu on a dance floor. There are also huge mental benefits too.
Learning and seeing your body change can boost confidence and self esteem. Internally in the brain, like any other complex activity ballet helps to strengthen connections in the brain and create new ones thanks to the concentration you need to remember learning the new dance moves and choreography.
Its also fun and takes your mind off worries so it’s also stress busting whilst learning a new skill and toning your body at the same time.
Dust off your ballet shoes and as they say on Strictly… “Keep dancing”..
