Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Improve your life

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

It is a combination of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. I have a warm and empathetic approach with my clients and understand that life can be hard balancing work family life and whatever else life throws at you. We don’t use talking problem techniques of what has happened in the past. We always look to the future. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses proven techniques of a combination of NLP, mindfulness and the latest brain based theories from neuro-scientists. It is an enjoyable experience with powerful results.

What can it help with? Anxiety, depression, stress, Insomnia, smoking cessation, addiction, fears and phobias, pain, weight management, IBS, motivation, sports performance, anger, bed wetting, exam nerves and lots more.

Can’t find what you are looking for? Hypnotherapy can help with other problems not listed above. Please do ask me as there is a good chance I can help you.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy With Judith Ward

What to expect when you come to see me?

I offer a initial consultation where we will meet each other and discuss the best way to help you. I will explain how the brain works and why you are feeling the way you do and how hypnotherapy can help you. Clients find this helpful and will put your mind at ease. I will explain the way forward to treat you and give you an indication of how many sessions are required.

I give you a FREE recording or CD to take away with you.

What is hypnosis?

It’s a bit like a meditative state. We go into trance many times a day This could be when we are watching TV or drive somewhere and forgotten how you got there. In this state we get access to the subconscious mind and can change unhelpful thought processes.

What doesn’t it do?

Clinical hypnotherapy is not the same as stage hypnosis. You will be in complete control. You will not be asked to do anything that you do not want to do. Your brain will not let you do this. It is a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Can we work remotely?

Yes. I offer face to face consultations locally and via Skype/Internet worldwide. Hypnotherapy via the Internet works equally as well. This is really useful for people further afield or for people who cannot travel to appointments.

What to look for when you come to see a hypnotherapist?

Please ensure that when you book an appointment to see a hypnotherapist that they have the right qualifications and you feel comfortable with them. Your hypnotherapist should have a Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD) and be registered with a professional organisation. If you are booking your child or a vulnerable adult the hypnotherapist should have an enhanced DBS check.

What qualifications do I have?

I have a Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma, Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. I am AfSFH (Reg), Complementary and Natural Health Care (Reg) and am a TRiM assessor (Trauma Risk Assessor). I was the trauma lead at the BBC in London for the whole of the UK. I have additional qualifications in fertility, self-hypnosis for child-birth, emetophobia, neuroscience, needle phobias, working with children and have an enhanced DBS check. I have been seeing clients in Northern Ireland since 2015 and have a well-established client base. I work with clients internationally via Skype. I am studying for an advanced Hypnotherapy Practitioners diploma in England which involves many hours of research and is regarded as equivalent to a degree in hypnotherapy.
I am very experienced in work stress as worked for many years in corporate and public sectors facilitating the implementation of safety systems and delivering training.

Please give a minimum of 48 hrs notice if you are unable to keep your appointment.
